CALL TO WORSHIP
We gather to worship the One who, by the power at work within us, is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine.
To God be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
—Ephesians 3:20-21

OPENING PRAYER
O God, you are the light of the minds that know you, the life of the souls that love you, and the strength of the thoughts that seek you. In this hour of worship, help us to know you so that we may truly love you, and to love you so that we may faithfully serve you, for only in serving you will we find complete freedom. This we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
—inspired by Augustine of Hippo

UNIFIED COMMUNION PRAYER
We offer you these gifts, O God, with eyes open to the needs of our neighbors, ears tuned to every cry of despair, hearts sensitive to the plight of the needy, feet ready to follow Christ in the way of compassion, and hands ready to reach out and share. Accept them, we pray, in Jesus’ Name, and open our spirits to the gifts on the table, that in the bread and wine, we may discern his body and blood. Unite us love and service and strengthen us for the journey ahead; through Jesus Christ, who with you and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns, forever and ever. Amen.
